Its been forever....

Yeah- so I slacked off on the whole blog idea. Didn't have much to write- and its more my own journal- because I am pretty sure no one reads it!! (if ya do leave some love! haha)

Super excited at the awesome stuff going on at the 2peas message board.

Started up a Secret Sister group through the sassy scrappers. Sent everything out tonight!! Can't wait to get started with that.

Also joined a tag swap- have to make 15 of them suckers!! Went to HL tonight to buy ribbon for it- and tags....and ended up spending $25!! Haha- Oh well- stuff happens.

Summer is flying past- only one weekend left in July- We only have 3 weekends open this summer- hopefully there will be an indian summer so we can get out on the river some more!!

I've not been good on doing my POTD! I only get pictures on the weekends...nothing during the week! So I share pictures from weekends.....and I got nothing now- too tired to do them...

Vacation in t-minus 10 days!! WooHoo!! I can't wait! Wisconsin Dells...nothing special but still will be alot of fun! Found out tonight we are going to Green Bay the last weekend in July for Training camp- should be really fun!

Sunday was Mother's Day. We all went to eat at Applebee's and mom, grandma, connie and the rest of the family went to see RV, Brett & I have already seen it so we didn't go. We went to Burnsville shopping. Got a few things...but no pictures!

Emma and I decided to hit the road and ditch work today and go shopping. Went to MOA. Got a cute sweatshirt at AE that says "Take it Easy" Its off the shoulder so perfect for chilly summer nights!! I got BIG red sunglasses and a cute striped yellow & blue tank from Forever 21. Super cute!! Went to Archivers....got some super cute bright colored primas [for 25% off....coupons ROCK!] Got tons of cute paper....new doodlebug summer papers and the pink (bubblegum) Simply Sweet cardstock stickers...I am IN LOVE with these...MUST FIND MORE!!

This is from our road tonight, I love how it looks like a painting. Im obsessed with these storm clouds that are rolling in around here. Totally forgot how amazing everything looks out in the country compaired to in town. I love being back here!

D.U.N!!! (lots of good school does!!) LOL

I am D.U.N with my 2nd year of collge, first year in my degree!! Thank Goodness!! Finished my ethics final tonight with a B, YeAhW!!! (Which also happens to be my favorite song at the moment by Jake Owen!) But now I am so excited for summer to start, the warm weather, river, sun, swimsuits, flip flops (n/m already got that one covered!), delicous food, sweet bright drinks to go along wtih the delicous food, Taste of Minnesota, Rib Fest, Camping, Work=$$, tank tops, skirts, capris, bright colors, awesome pictures, swimming, oh geeze- the list could go on forever, but I will spare you!!

OH my car is fixed....$500 later....thank goodness for Dad!!

Cat=annoying latley! She won't leave me alone- I don't think she likes her new food!! grr@her! But she still loves me enough to sleep and cuddle with me :)!

I continue to tell myself at the end of every month that I am going to start a POTD...and I never do...So monday I am really going to start!! Its going to be hard to get pics during the week since I work till 6 at night and then usually come home and sit around....But im going to- I got some cool pics of the storm clouds coming in tonight- But I haven't uploaded them yet- Maybe I will just start today and show my pics tomorrow....we will see how the time goes!!

Car.....kaput!

So last week...Friday....my car started making this noise....like an old phone ringing....dad said it was part of my A.C. - and to just leave my A.C. on- so I did. Then today I went to perkins to get a salad for lunch and run to the bank- and it was making the noise...with my A.C. on- grr...so I called him and he said not to drive it and that we whould find a car for me to drive this weekend (as I am going to Winona to meet brett so we can drive to Iowa...how fun...) So I went back to work and dad called me and said to bring my car to Joe's and they would look at it and fix it- but not till Monday- so I still don't have a vehicle..So I call mom tell her I need to use her car (seems as her and Kevin have three vehicles for the two of them) SO now i am driving my moms car- which is okay- just drives so much more different than my car! I should'nt be so upset- this is the first time anything has gone really wrong with my car- the only really bad thing I guess though is that..........its going to cost $900 to fix....but since Kevin is fixing it at Joes- we will get most of it at cost- so thats good!

TOnight mom and I went shopping at HL at JoAnn's.....spent $50....got myself...stickers, rotary cutter and board, spring stack, punchies, and...ribbon, buttons....I think thats it. Got to eat at Noodles & Co. SOOO nummy!! Mom picked out everything for her vacation album im going to make her- should be super cute- not at all matching but thats okay- I don't think I like albums that every page looks the same colors- too boring for me I guess...maybe a wedding album...but thats not going to be happening anytime soon!!

Iowa this weekend...Should be fun- we usually have fun when we go on our little road trips so that Brett can test someplace! Im excited. Will be fun- lots of pictures I will take thats for sure!! Thats good though- I only have pics from... easter to scrap! everything else is done...oh and bretts pics from his 21st b-day- but there are not many of them.

T.V. SUCKS!

So, tonight the T.V. selection sucked. All these like catch up shows- boring! I've seen all the previous ones! haha...

This weekend was pretty fun! Friday night was the Fire Department dinner, won a cute picture frame- 5x7 so I gotta get a pic printed out in 5x7 to put in it! Saturday we went grocery shopping and made lunch, grilled cheese and tomato soup- nummy! Saturday afternoon we went to LaCrosse with bretts parents to run some errands and they took us out for bretts birthday at Red Lobster, my favorite!! Then we just pretty much lounged around the house. Today was pretty fun, we went out for lunch, got totally ripped off.....way too much $$ for the amount/quality of food we got. Then we went out on the river with Adam to check to make sure his boat works...haha...funny- I just laugh in my head when I think about that kid cuz hes just so...i dunno... sorta blonde like a ditzy girl? ya know? lol...but hes a cool kid and I wish he had a g/f so we could all hang out more- but that's not gonna happen for a long time I don't think....but who knows...people suprise ya I guess. Then we came home and made pizza for eveyrone. I haven't had home made pizza in so long. It was super good!! Then we went to Target so brett could get a new lunch box- and there is this awesome cup at target!! Wish I had it *wink wink*

Then I was getting my stuff read to leave and put in my trunk and brett put my rollerblades on...funny- he don't think he can roller blade...maybe with practice? lol....I don't think so! hehe

Next weekend is Des Moines. Should be a fun little road trip. Taking my car...which means I gotta clean my car (inside and out) before we leave...
Work full time this week...yuck...not looking forward to it...but then again I am because im so sick of sitting around with nothing to do! School is almost done...3 more weeks!! Gotta get working on math this week too (at work..haha)

The concert was SO much fun! We had a blast. We all met up in the cities at Majros for a late lunch/early dinner. After we got done eating we headed up to the Xcel and went to Mcgoverns for a few drinks. It was then time to head back to the venue. It was so much fun! The pics show it! I got some great ones! Can't wait to scrap them!
Wednesday is Brett's Birthday, should be interisting! haha
Next weekend is Easter! We are dying eggs with Kevin's kids saturday and going to Grandmas for lunch Sunday. Super excited to spend time wtih my family...well certain ones...not so much others...haha. Here are a few pics of Brett and I!

In the middle!

Yes im right in the middle of two fun weekends! Last weekend the only thing large planned was state school in Rochester, Saturday night we stayed in a hotel and ate at Outback (it was so much fun, didn't get any pictures from the night though) but the thing that supised me the most was Friday. Brett and I went up to Minneaoplis to the convention center to the Outdoors show. We had so much fun just walking around looking at the boats, resorts, and all the other little things they had around there. On our way there we stopped at Red Robin on Cedar Ave. had a delcious lunch. After the sports show we went to MOA. When we walked in Brett said "lets go to










Build-A-Bear and you can make a bear!" So I did!! We even went to the Arcade and played for a little bit. I really wanted to go into one of those photo booth things and get a strip of photos, but they are $5 and we only had $2 cash after the Arcade. Next time!!

This weekends fun........KENNY CHESNEY CONCERT!!!!!! I am so excited. We are going to eat someplace before the cocnert...yeah that whole thing is up to me and I have to call a few places and see if they take reservations...that was my job for the past two days and I still havent gotten it done yet...oops! I will for sure post pics next week!!
Brett is coming to town tomorrow afternoon. Oh- and I rented Brokeback Mountain...brett said he would watch it with me tomorrow night so I haven't watched it yet. Very excited to! Friday we are going to see either Benchwarmers or Ice Age: The Meltdown (which ever we don't see Friday we will go see Sunday) Friday night...B-I-N-G-O, Ham Bingo! At the VFW in Cannon Falls. I am so excited! Turkey Bingo for Thanksgiving and Ham Bingo for Easter, two of my favorite times ever to play Bingo! Saturday....the Concert....Sunday...movie and relax!

long time no chat! I should really be reading my book for ethics...but I've read 60 pages this morning already...tonight I will read more since there will be NOTHING on TV until 9...then its my real world and 8th & Ocean time. I will prolly work out on the gazelle while watching them...so I signed up for this 'dieting' website yesterday Sparkpeople its such a great site! You just type in everything, starting weight, goal weight, what days in the week you are going to do cardio and for how long, and it calculates how many calories you need to eat and how many you need to burn each day! Its such a great website! And to help you count calories you do a search on the site for what you ate during the day and it adds everything up for you! I am in love with the site. Its just great! If anyone happens to be reading this and signs up for it, type in ' bigsunglasses ' when you register under referred by!

This past weekend didn't end up as fun as I thought It would have- but brett and I still had a lot of fun just the two of us. I got to go shopping....spent his money on him...bought myself a cute pair of jean gauchos for the concert...which is only um...ELEVEN days away! I am so excited! Kenny Chesney was on the radio station here last week and he said this years stage and show is going to way out do last years- which i thought last years was amazing! This will be my fourth time seeing him! Im so excited...

This weekend brett is commin' up on thursday night and friday we are going to the sports show in the cities, saturday he starts state school in rochester, so I will be at home saturday morning, I will be typing my paper on "mans search for meaning" if I do not get it done throughout this week. Book is pretty good, about the Holocaust, which is something that has always interested me, the only thing hard about writing the book report is going to be trying to find a way for it to tie into what we are learning about in ethics...Somehow thought i guess I will figure it out, Just have to read what other people in my group and class have posted about the book and their take on how it interacts with our classroom text. Thats not completly cheating if I change it up a bit...haha...how else would anyone get through college? JUST KIDDING....

Its almost easter too! Brett said he would decorate eggs with me! So excited!! Maybe we will go to mom and kevin's and decorate them with the boys next sunday instead of going to winona! Im sure I can get brett to come here instead right?

Well, I suppose I better get ready to head into town...going walking with mom this evening and then going to her house and gonna dye my hair...its way to red right now so I need it to be just dark brown!!

George Lopez and Freddie merged into one show tonight, too funny! I love it!! My supper was so nummy! A lean Cusine microwavable meal- and it came with desert! Too nummy!!

Leavin' for Duluth Friday afternoon! I am so excited, way too much fun all the guys up there keep callin brett to find out what time we are gonna be in town! Them boys all get way too excited to see eachother! too funny. Saturday night, I get lobster from Red Lobster, delicious!!

Class tonight took FOREVER and a day! Went to HL on my way to class and bought a 12x12 Sterilite 3 Drawer thingy with my 40% off coupon, then I sorted out my scraps between those 3 drawers and an other thing I had. Now maybe I will use them!! haha

Oh what a FUN night! The day started out at Styna's house making margaritas, and playing drunken shutes & ladders. Everyone else started to show up around 7 and the party was truley on a roll! Around 10 we all piled into vehicles (sober cabs duh!...mostly sober) and went out to Meatballs house and contiuned the PARTY! It was so much fun there were so many people out there. The night was so much fun! Dancing, drinking, laughing! For sure needs to happen again soon! I had so much fun with Emma & Styna! (and we even managed to be nice to people...at least to their faces!) [Auto Show 2006]

Brett, Emma, Dave, & I all went up to the Auto Show the next morning (More like afternoon when we all got our drunken asses outta bed and ready!) Brett & I drove seperatly because they had to be back in town to go bowling. It was a lot of fun! I love sitting in brand new vehicles and smelling the "new vehicle" smell all day! I even got a nummy Ice Cream cone outta the day! Here's a few pics of the day!

Next weekend is the Duluth Party weekend! I am so excited! Hotel party for sure! Went grocery shopping today and got a few ingridents...going to make 'the dip' so nummy! Get to go shopping all weekend...with bretts money..lol- Just wonderful!

Snow, Snow, and more Snow!

Well, woke up at 5:30 this morning to thunder, lightning, and hail! Went back to bed and woke up around 9:30 (yeah, I stay up late and sleep in late!) and there is 4 inches of snow here in Winona and at home dad said there is 10 inches (all fell between 6am and 10:30 am!) Crazy! HWY 61 is closed going in and out of Red Wing..insane...mom is stuck in miesville since 7 this morning...just nuts! Oh well..all the snow will be gone by the end of the weekend cuz its going to be like 40 degrees again!

This weekend was SO fun!! Bretts parents left thursday for Mexico...so it was just a big party Friday and Saturday. So many pics to show! don't have them now though cuz my cord for my camera is at home...and im in winona as I can't leave!! This girl that was here...she is just stupid...and a slut...its crazy...i feel dumber every time she opens her mouth to say something...she is the type of girl that gives other girls bad names (and guys good nights...so one of brandons friends says...yuck) But yeah it was a fun weekend.

What a Ride!

First things First...thank you SO much to digidiva-Kathy for hookin' me up with my saweet banner! I am totally lovin' it!!

Ne way..the title....i got myself into a little bit of an accident Sunday. We were traveling South on 61 in winona...and ended up in the ditch on the NORTH side of 61 facing UP hill....yeah....it was pretty intense and scared the SHIT outta me! It was so damn slushy out...it was NOT my fault! lol. Ne ways its over and i have stoped hyper-ventalating now so we can all breath a little easier! haha.

This weekend was too funny! Saturday we grilled out and had some friends over. Bretts brother, Brandon, has the funniest friends eva! I laughed so damn hard. They were all wasted and I was the only sober one in the house! Oh well, it was a great time though.

One of Brett's best friends leaves friday for Iraq. He has been home for the past two weeks, so the two of them got to spend alot of time together, not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing, but they are funny when they are together!

Got some new scrap stuff yesterday...just some paper- nothing new- just new to me! lol The First Desperate Scrapwives challenge is up today...started messing with mine, pretty sure its almost done! Just wanna look at it a little more before I post it! lol And there should be a new Sassy Scrappers challenge out today too! WooHoo! I need some inspiration to scrap! Have tons of pics...just not sure what to do with them!

BIG INFO! Brett and I are going to Florida this summer! Over 4th of July week. We are going to drive down to Clearwater Beach and hang out for a week. I am so excited!! Now I just NEED a real JOB so I can save some money up so he doesn't pay for everything!! Mom comes home late WEdnesday night from Florida....can't wait to see all my goodies I get from her!! lol Bretts parents leave Friday for Mexico...can't wait till I can go someplace warm!

Fun[ny] Times!!

OMgeeze.....Last night I really did get to go out!! And I had a BLAST!! Started out at Daves with Em ate a steak (deliciously cooked by dave) and then we went to LC to hang out with Kyle and Jason. We had so much fun....here is just a little taste of the fun we had........Me, Kyle, Emma, and ABSOLUT...makes a wonderful night! haha

So yeah I managed to get my butt into bed around 2:30 this morning. Had to bring grandpa to town this morning at 10...came back home and slept till 1:00 and went to work at 2:00. It was so worth it though! I had so much fun!!

So that was the extent of my night...and now here I am tonight...sitting at home...alone...my dad went to my brothers basketball game with his "g/f" i guess..i dislike her sooooooo much!! And he knows this....and yet she is continually here!! Pisses me off to NO end!! Whatever though...well I guess I should prolly get some nums into my tummy!!!

And I totally agree with Reva (check out her latest blog) Just because you believe you can relate to us...we do not relate to you. Enough said...oh btw did I mention I very much dislike drama? *Save the drama for yo momma!*

So on a happy note...tonight I get to go out!! (them vodka sours are calling my name...and I even got my mini-bottle of Absolut- totally in love with it!) Yes I know! Its a rarity! lol... Emma and I are gonna go chill at Dave's with him and Andy, and if that happens to get boring we might just head down to good ole' LC! Fin and Timmy are home on spring break (yeah thats way early!) so we will see what happens there!

Oh...and my mom is in flordia...she left yesterday...its like a whole of 20 degrees here and she is wearing a sweatshirt when its 65 at night there...*but i would be too* Im jealous...but I get to go someplace warm this summer (brett has this idea in his head that we are getting in the car and driving south this summer for a week...fine by me!) Plus I get to make a scrapbook for mom of their vacation (and she is paying for supplies Double Plus ++!!)

OP! I went to Target yesterday....walked out spending less than $10 ($9.93) I was so excited for myself! I bought like six things!

I need to go tanning...its cold out and the tanning bed sounds so inviting! Maybe I will go before I get my butt to work today...if that ever will happen...lol..I have to cuz thats the only place I am motivated enough to do homework...horrible I know!

I did quite a bit of scrappin' the last couple of days...Got Sassy Scrappers week #6 done today...My Layouts... check em out!

I need to get going...shower, paint nails, lotion, hair, make-up, clothes, being a girl is so hard!

This weekend was pretty good....Saturday night brett and i went out for supper at majors and played the trivia game on the big screen then came home and watched "Flightplan" it is such a good movie, if you haven't seen it...you gotta!! It keeps you guessing SO much!! Every time I thought i had it figured out...i was wrong! Watch it!

Today I was going to go shopping wtih my mom and brett was gonna go home but her b/f came with her so brett came with me....we all get along really well...so we had fun. mom bought me a new purse from Old Navy....super cute totally love it...i bout a skirt...from the little girls section at JcPenny (it was actually girls plus...but still) and my most dissapointing thing about today........(keep in mind i dont even go shopping on sunday) i was so excited out Hobby Lobby's sale on paper...(12x12 6/1.00 & 8 1/2x11 8/1.00) so we went there........they are closed on sunday! and i don't have class tomorrow so i wasn't gonna be able to go tomorrow either...so not till wednesday when everything is already picked through....and then tonight mom called and said that she needed me to run to roch (its like 45 mins away) to return some things for her so that she could still bring them on vacay with her (they are going to FL on wednesday for a week...im jealous!) so i still get to go to HL tomorrow!! supa excited...get the best of the pick! haha hopefully they have everything out cuz sometimes on monday they have boxes of stuff to put out yet...i'll be upset! lol

now im just sitting at home....alone (well my dad is in the living room) just chillin' don't have any pics to scrap...they are all getting processed from the weekend (sent them in tonight) so i guess i just watch tv(even though there is nothing on and has been nothing on all night-stupid re-runs i can't wait till tomorrow when the olympics are over!)...and fall asleep...........g'nite!!
