New hair-do and Kitty!!

This is the new hair. I got black lo-lights through out and the bottom in the back is all black black with a red booster to warm it up a little bit. My layers are SHORT SHORT!! I am finally figuring out how to do it quickly so it looks good!!
This is my new kitty!! Her name is Kiah. She is so full of personality. (That is her halloween costume behind her- she is not a fan of wearing it) her and the dog don't get along very well but eventually i think they will warm up to each other- hopefully anyways!!

Well im off for the weekend to celebrate Oktoberfest!!! Shall be a great time!!!

my wonderful cat zoie is being put to sleep in less than an hour.
we believe she had a stroke over last weekend and has gone blind in both eyes.
I can't stand to see her like this so its our only option.
I am so heart broken right now. I can't stop crying, i am a mess.
This is one of the hardest things I have even gone through in my life.
Im going to miss you, and you will always be my meow.

my 22nd birthday!
Nothing too exciting for the b-day. just a lot of drama (as usual in my life- anyone has a the pass code to erase that from a life...let me know I need it badly)
Went out for supper with the boyfriend, mom, and g-ma. had a good time. rented "Wild Hogs" as the boy hasn't seen it. I fell asleep. yeah.

only to wake up at 3 am to my cat wondering aimlessly around the house not hardly being able to stand. so in 5 mins I am leaving to take her to the vet. they said she may have had a stroke.
thanks world. happy birthday to you too. so I am hoping she is just i don't know what i am hoping. wish me luck.

to my birthday. yupp. so tomorrow starts my birthday weekend. I am so lucky that it almost always over the holiday weekend and i get to extend it forever!! haha

and I make a big deal out of my b -day. my family goes camping the entire weekend so its my weekend and everyone has known that since pretty much day one!! I can't wait
I usually know what i want/am getting but this year i have no clue on either. well sorta.
i am hopefully getting a cute new bud light sweatshirt and a clock/dock for my i pod.
this way i can listen to my tunes as i am scrapping since everything is in my new room now and its so much nicer up there!! so it will be nice.

*side note im eating a sandwich and the cheese slice is way too thick...making it sorta nasty like to eat*

so as if MN hasn't had enough going ons-
we got some really bad rain an hour or so from here over the weekend and houses are washed away, roads are washed away and people are dead/missing. This is so sad. One of my best friends (amanda) grandparents house is gone. the pictures are so amazing to see and so sad. I couldn't imagine losing everything to something that keeps you alive. pray for these people.
on a good note- amanda and i are getting out in about 2 months and going to the Rascal Flatts/Jason Aldean concert with amanda and brooke. it shall be a great time!!

yeah finally I have scrapped and am going to show!!

horrible pics but I have no ambition to do anything good right now. ha

i am scrapping again and I love it.
Im strictly doing 6x12 pages and they are so much fun.
a lot like 8.5x11 but different and fun.
I bought a nice 12x12 album and putting two 6x12 pages
in each page. looks pretty good.

I just need to say that.
now im off to work till six am! ahh!

and I just got back from mine!!

went with the boyfriend and his family to their cabin for five days.
had a total blast.
somehow my camera was MIA most of the weekend and we didn't get too many pics but we will be back there in 3 weeks so I'll be sure to make up for it!!!

I did go fishing for the first time in my life over the weekend though.
actually ended up liking it a lot and caught the most fish! (beginners luck)
but it was fun.

some of our friends came up for a couple days too. took the RV into town and went to the casino...then a super late night beer run...the mixed drinks at the bar were tasting pretty darn good so we ended up staying there and not getting back to the cabin till around 4ish.

I came home last night to a new puppy!!!!!!
Meet Tango. he is so much fun and simply adorable.
Can't wait to start scrapping him!
I gave him the stuffed miss. piggy I won at the bar saturday night.
she didn't have a very long life.

I have fallen off of the blog & scrap world for the last four months or so and its driving me crazy!!

My life has been a fast moving train for the past few months and I love it!!
I moved, got myself an amazing new boyfriend, promotion at work, found out who my real friends are, and its summer so im getting a great tan!!

I've just been so busy I don't know where to start so im not even going to!!

4th of july was amazingly fun. its my favorite holiday and even though we had tons of plans and everyone backed out we still ended up having fun!

Nick and I Fireworks!My new friend, Byron. He is a HUGE dog!

Today I am moving all my scrap stuff to my new house and getting that organized and i am so excited!! I have a million pictures to scrap- I don't even know where to start!! Hopefully I can remember how!!

yeah basically my life and i love it.
I had such an awesome weekend.
my friends all rock so much.

Friday night we took the RV out for a little cruise.
got in around 4am.
slept till 2.
got up started all over again.
St. Pattys was a blast. glad it only comes around once a year.

This week is full of work. hopefully full of quiting this job and getting a new one...cross your fingers. the chiropracter my aunt works at is looking for a new secretary so im going to give them a call. that would be nice.

so its been a bit.
I am single again.
for real and good this time.

just not ready to do the whole settle down relationship thing right now.
need some becca time.
its been good so far.

at ate buca's saturday night....sooo nummy.
styna was my date.
we then got lost in the cities trying to find the multi-level club.
then went to a dive bar had fun went home and went to bed.

i have started playing guitar hero. pretty much ROCKS.
the game not me.
personally i suck. im getting better. every now and then I can get over 90%.
makes me happy and want to try harder.

I need to scrap. have a few layouts in mind. one about things that are going through my head right now with the whole being single thing. i'll post that when it gets done.

The Holiday comes out on tuesday- pretty excited to watch that.
working all week
and saturday is St. Patricks Day.
Can't wait. big party. mint-chocolatetini's to go around for the night. woot!

so the world prolly knows that there was a huge snow storm in the minnesota/iowa/chicago/wisconsin area. Well huge is a small word for it!!
If i was at home a. i would have pics to show because we only got like two inches there b. i could show you the pics i took of the 12 inches of snow we got in Winona over the night and then again the 8 in. we are supposed to get on top of that tonight!!

Its crazy. You can't really see out the windows downstairs because the window wells are full of snow. AMazed I am. Can't wait to show the pics. Now I want to play in the snow but its super super cold out and major wind is blowing.

Today is our 2 year anniversary. It has gone by so fast, and I couldn't be any happier (well if we lived together or even in the same town I would be happier.) But for now, and the last two years, we have worked the "long" distance relationship thing.

The weekend was fun. Friday night we just chilled at home and watched Movies. Saturday we went to moms and played games and grilled out. Saturday night we partied it up with the crew. Had tons of fun and laughed a lot. us girls found out we play a mean air guitar! for sure.
Today I worked then came home and did nothing.....made some supper thats about it. Now its time to watch desperate housewives. can't wait.
have the day off tomorrow and tuesday morning off. going to do heidi's tags for the swap and work on my deck of me project!

everyone has those family members you just don't understand...you always think- "what the hell happened to them for them to be so much different than me?" got a phone call from my mom today about my cousin...strange things have been going on now for about 6 months...and well shit hit the fan last night and it just amazes me the things that people do. and the people who dont see these things happening right in front of their faces....

with that being said....
this weekend can't wait (and its only Tuesday that sucks)
nothing special to look forward to for the rest of the week...other than not having to be to work until 12! but then I have to work till 8.

I have thought a lot lately and have decided to take this semester off of school. just need to get some things worked out and don't need the stress of school to make things harder than they already are. so thats my decision. transferring next semester to Minnesota School of Business/Globe College makes more sense- wish I would have just gone there in the first place- would be done with school now...but you live and learn right?

so its supper time...im starving...have no food here...that sucks.

p.s. going to start to work on Tags for Heidi's swap tonight...as I didn't stop to get pics from WM tonight and have no pics to scrap.

60GB External Hard Drive for my laptop.

Right now I am busy transfering photos, music, and digi files to it so that I can erase everything off of my computer and re-start. Maybe then my messenger will work and it will be a bit faster again!!

Today we had a small "holiday party" at Brett's mom's aunts house. (confusing?) Totally set the mood for Christmas!! nummy food, amazing drinks, family, laughs. Can't wait for next weekend!!
Tons of driving but it will be worth it. Can't wait to get tons of pictures.
Friday night I am going to finish my shopping, work saturday during the day, saturday night is supper with Amanda for her birthday and possibly out somewhere for a few drinks!! I can't wait to see the girls!!

Thats right...
One class is DONE for the semester- just finished the project up and sent it in!!
I have all my photographs done for photography just need to scan them and write up my artist statement! (thats the .5 part)
I now have to read FOUR books and write FOUR papers...slacker I am through the semester and waiting till the last second (literally) to do the work. Oh well...shouldn't be too hard they are not hard books to read! *but still wish me luck!*

So you would think this photo was taken 30 years ago...nope
took it just 10 mins ago- played with it and this is what I came
up with.
Totally printing it and making a scrap page with it.
Love how it looks old and vintage- love me some vintage right now.
Got some extra time and put the tree up tonight...now I just need to find
pretty things to put on it.
Can't decide if I want bright colors or just red. hopefully I figure it out soon!
I kinda just like it with the lights though- so pretty.

This weekend was slighly uneventful.
Went to Winona Saturday night after work
and went out to the bars for Brett's cousins
birthday- had fun- was sober cab.
sunday we just hung out and watched Cars.
super cute movie!
had class today and then went to HL to get me
some christmas lights and a christmas tree topper.
love it all.
also managed to get me the chipboard stack thing that is
9.99 with my 40% discount card. $6 in my little hands
super cute- font is like HS lemonade stand sorta.
I might post a pic later.
I also got a 2GB SD card for my camera over the weekend
$24.99 reg. $89.99 I am now able to take and store 1440
photos or 28.23 mins. of video.

I have been working my butt off, trying to get better and over this virus/cold thing, spending time with family, boyfriend, and friends.

First off THANK YOU to those of you who wished me a happy turkey day!!

you are crazy!! I had to work at 4:30- that was fun! haha
Long day and its 1:19 now and I am home and ready for a nap!!

Can't wait till next saturday when I get a real day off of work!

Until
THANKSGIVING

so excited for delicious food and family.
Have to be to bretts grandparents by 1:00
for lunch. Eat hang out for an hour or so then
on the road again to be at mom and kevins
by 5:00 for supper. Homemade pie by loving
grandmothers at both houses!!
I am also super excited to set up a christmas
three here at my house. We didn't have one last
year since I just moved in the day before christmas
eve and well dads not much of a decorator! So this year
we will have a beautiful (fake) tree up and I saw this big
container at Target today that has super colorful decorations
for the tree for only $17.99 so that will be bought!

As if traveling for thanksgiving isn't going to give me enough
stress this week I am also officially starting the new job
at Office Max on Wednesday. We open. Very excited.
So I work Wednesday at 7:45 am off thursday for some
time with family and turkey and mashed potato eating.
Friday=BLACK FRIDAY most hated day in retail- I will be
at work by 4:45 AM- yes thats right we open at 5- I can not
guarantee that I will be awake- but I will be there! ha

I will be done by 1 so that is nice- go home and sleep-
hopefully I will put the christmas tree up that afternoon.
I work saturday also so maybe sunday I will have a day off!

Christmas is sneaking up on us so fast!! My mom has my brothers and I's christmas presents ordered and all already- insane-
I believe I know what I am getting Brett-- *can't say here
because sometimes he reads this*
For my mom I think im going to try and get some pictures
taken of the family and make some type of home decor for her since
she will have a new house in the spring and will need some new fun things to put in the house.
Dad- who knows what to get him ever! he has everything!
I will find something though i am sure- maybe a maid to clean his desk? haha

I have been sick since last Tuesday. Is it time for it to be done?
I sure hope so because im ready for it to be done!
It sure is a good diet though- haven't eat much of anything since then.
and because of this I have not been to class since forever ago- I must
call the teacher today and let her know what is going on- if she can hear
me because I do not have a voice- which also sucks.

well it was actually 10:05 but
had the long drive home from the cities so
I didn't get home until 11. my feet hurt.

The weekend was fun. Friday night was
a night spent at home...
Saturday was the Scrapbook Convention with
Amanda, (have a super cute pic of her- will post
later sometime tomorrow) and saturday night went
with some friends to a party. THat was fun- have a
few pics of that too.
Sunday was the football game at moms. Pretty fun
The packers won so brett was happy :)!!

Today work tomorrow work (last day at the pool store)

thursday-saturday work 9-5 in the cities *last days of having
to drive there for traning!!!*

and it hasn't been 90 days so I re-packaged it and brought
it back to WM....said i got it a few weeks ago from my grandma
don't have the reciept... they let me exchange it for a new one!

from the town we were in
(not the town he is a cop in) came in and told them
they were being arrested and there was a
warrant for their arrest.
They were being arrested for D.U.I.L
(dancing under the influence of love) sooo cute-
Sarah's dad went through tons of friends to get
this done, there is a real warrant and everything they have.

Hey ladies!
Okay so last night I said I would type you my homework assignment I'm having a little trouble with...here it is (give me some creative ideas!)

This is for my photography class by the way. I have to have 5 pictures for the final presentation. I can either mount them or frame them- or I can be creative and do something three-dimensional to present them ( I would like to do this...)
anyway here it is:

Choose a consistent theme, attitude, or style and use it throughout the project so each photo somehow relates to the other four. GO beyond the surface and look for underlying issues, meaning or spirit. Learn as much as you can about the subject and become involved with it.
Suggestions:

explore the human conditions by examining one of the following: greed, poverty, illness, power, fragility, dignity, aging or birth.
Explore the idea of place by examining a neighborhood, landscape, campus o architecture.
Examine issues of identity, your own another person, or group.
Select a subject or event to document. If you choose an event, it could also include photos form behind the scene.

thought I was going to puke the entire first 10 mins..

Had supper at TGI Fridays
nummy- soup was "Souper" good!!

Class today- thought an assignment was due- wasn't
good thing because I don't have it done!

Big assignment due monday-
my typed up proposal for my final project is due Wednesday-
so im going to ask for help from you ladies...what do you think I should do?
(i'll type up what we have to do tomorrow the you can let me know)

Tomorrow is work from 12-6 then off to Winona
Saturday morning we leave for the wedding!
Super busy weekend!
all the way to Sunday afternoon we are busy!!
Will be a blast though!!

Next week is my first day of training for the new J-O-B!!
4:30 to 9 up in the cities (40 min drive from home- but I
have to leave from school so its 1 hour and 40 mins) that sucks
oh well- I hopefully get paid for that entire time- plus mileage!

We open the 22nd and are closed the 23rd for Thanksgiving
but I get paid for a full 8 hours!! Saweet!!!! I love having a full
time job again!

although our discount is only 10% on everything but "electronics"
type stuff...thats only 5%- which will only cover tax (5.6% here)
But there are like 7 "Friends and Family Days" and I guess there
are some really good deals then so - that will be nice!!
There are tons of chances to get more $$- like bonus's for doing what
our job is- so thats sweet!!
Very excited for this new job
The open supervisor posission is open to me and another guy-
who I went to school with, graduated with, and worked with
at Sam Goody- so I am going to work my ass off to make sure
I get that spot- because if he does- I will be mad- because I am
way better than him at this job- I have worked with him before-
I have been his manager before- No way am I going to let him
be in charge of me!!!!
There are also these annoying high school girls (3 of them- who happen
to be best friends) they are so annoying! Im so over high school drama
and BS- so that is the last thing I will be putting up with while
working!!
okay enough of my babbling....
im out for the night!!!!!

oh wait one more thing.......
Fargo called bretts two major people in his work history-
The fire chief of the Volunteer department he is on now
(who happens to be his uncle) and talked to him for
about 15 mins- and made a comment that they had
talked to someone from the City (he worked there for
about 4 years in the summers) and said they had nothing but
good things to say
so this is a good thing!
Things are going in our direction right now and I couldn't
be happier!!!!!!

Does good and bad always come together?

Within 45 mins I received two headlines in my life.
One very exciting and has a chance to change my life forever.
The other extremely saddening and heartbreaking and will change the life of many others.

The sad:
A young man that I went to private school with for many years and was best friends with my brother for a few years committed suicide last night. He had a severe case of ADHD and stopped taking his medication in the past few weeks and was also very deep into drugs.
I have not spoken to this boy in over five years, but it still breaks my heart as I knew him as a happy go lucky fifth grader. He was a senior in High school this year and ended his life way too quickly. I feel so sad that he felt he had no one to talk to. He did leave a note but all it basically said was that he "had has been messing up a lot lately and making mistakes and he didn't want to do that anymore" From my brothers understanding he did not have a very good relationship with his parents. This also makes me very sad. My parents are two of my best friends and I have no clue what I would do without them to talk to whenever I need it. I pray for his family and his friends. Hopefully this will knock some sense into some of his other friends that chose to also do drugs. I hope.

The good:
Brett got a phone call from FARGO today!!
They wanted to get some information to him to get his background check done! It was 20 guys and now down to 5 and they are going to employ 3 of them! This is so exciting but we are both trying to not get our hopes up. Very exciting news is all that I can say.

All in all though I am in a sad mood now. I feel so sad that this boy felt there were no other choices for him and no one to talk to.

Tonight I am going to look at the house my mom and her boyfriend are building together. Then supper with Brett and his parents and my mom and her boyfriend. That will be fun.

I need tivo-
we have dish-
so im going to have dad get their
DVR so that I can record TV shows that are on during the day when I am not home.
I was home from school early today and got to watch
Dr. Phil and now im watching Oprah.
I love watching Oprah- but can only watch it on Monday and some wednesdays.
This is why I need DVR.

Anyone have it?!
Brett has it at his house- and I love it there!!

I got NO mail all weekend...
im waiting for my rolodex cards from the swap
im waiting for some CD's from BMG....(which for some reason they billed me TWICE for....so hopefully I will get both so that I can return the one that they over charged me for- or else I will have to give them a call!!)

Heidi....be on the look out- im sending your goodies tomorrow!!
*if i dont use them myself tonight- hehe just kidding*

went to the LSS - got Heidi her goodies-

after reading three months worth of Glamour I decided to cut my naturally long and beautiful perfect nails off and have the short nails that are "all the rage" right now.....wanted to paint them red but I don't have red, so they are pink.
Its so strange typing with out my long nails.

Super excited!!!
Now to just tell Lynn I am done. It will be sad/hard but I have been there for 3 years and I am pretty sure she knows that my life goal was not to work there.

In other news.......I got my package from 2peas today!! Bought with my RAK from my wonderful Heidi!!!!!!! Love this girl! ahem....balls to the wall....ahem...

I also got a "coupon" if you will for $8.46 to the LSS in Winona.
Its a Frequent Buyer Voucher.....total suprise- knew nothing about it!
I am stoked!!!!!!!!!
I have like $4 left from a GC there so this girl is doing a little shopping this
weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yippie!!!!

well its time to make supper- (and watch the damn dog so he don't run away anymore!!!)

Here is my page for "The School of Scrap" contest week #2.

We were supposed to use THIS ALBUM COVER for Insop.

Also include the words GRATITUDE or THANKFUL
along with the defination and a quote with the word you pick.
So it was hard....but I really like it!!

This was my submition for week one- which was
to use 2x as many fonts as you did photos
(ie. 1 photo = two fonts)

The layout I did last week I thought was really good-
but others that I thought it was better than...
got a better grade than me....so that sucks-

(that they chose) for inspo. and have either the word
Grateful or Thankful
along with their defination and a quote with the word....
thats way more of a busy page than I am used to.....
totally out of my box....

up with 2peas?! I have been trying to get on for the past 47 mins and its not working.
Im sitting here at work with NOTHING to do (except read the last two issues of Glamour) and I want to get my fix of 2peas... and I can't even do that!! grrrr!!

So instead I will speak of last night....

Narko was at the bar most of the night-
but Styna, Mandy and I had a effin' blast!
We went for a 2 AM 4-wheel ride- that was cold
the boys had fun playing with all of dads tools in the shop
it was super warm in there thank goodness!!

Jake- (my dog) had a great time too!!
He loved all the attention and there are now beer bottles
scattered all around my back yard...he loves playing with
them empty things!! He didn't even get up from his sleeping
spot this AM when I brought him food!!
Silly pup.

I still don't have pics downloaded from the camera yet...
But there will be hundreds more taken tonight I am for sure!
Party bus tonight- Can't wait!! Will be fun!!!!

So last night was Narko and Meatball's 21st birthdays (nicknames are fun ain't they?!)
It was tons of fun
Said I was only going to go have a couple and get home early...
well that couple turned into like seven and a shot!
So my plan didn't work but it was tons of fun and Mandy came so I wasn't
the only girl- thank goodness!!
Those boys are so much fun- Can't wait till tomorrow and Saturday night.
Brett said he would come on Saturday night now- Narko made him promise
he would- Iwon't say how- haha these boys have a mind of their own- and its
a dirty mind!!
I will post pics tonight when I get home from work!!

the week is going by already- it helps when you dont go to class monday and dont work monday!!
(good thing I just said something about school- need to turn in homework for my online class!)

This past weekend.......
Friday: supper at Perkins
Movie at home (the lake house) brett fell asleep 20 mins into the movie- I liked it.
Saturday: Bio test (totally sucked it up)
Movies in the afternoon/night
Sunday: 4-wheelin

(its not letting me add photos right now darn thing!!!!!)

Monday- I didn't go to class- we weren't going to be doing anything so Brett and I went to LaCrosse and I went to HL- got some American crafts brown letter stickers
and some doggie paper i haven't seen before.

This week:
Wednesday: Narko's 21st b-day going to havea few drinks with him
Thursday: Scrappin hopefully
Friday: party here!!! Hicktown can't wait gonna be a balst
"gettin' down on the farm" super excited- Narko will be happy- hes been buggin' me forever!
Saturday: sleep/scrap/clean
Party bus for Narkos Birthday saturday night
Sunday: Pumpkin patch with mom and the boys!!
Brett is comin' up and we are going with mom, kevin, kailen, and mitchell. can't wait to get some super awesome pictures!!

Tuesday of next week Crystal and I have hopefully finally found a night to get togther to scrap and go have supper and drinks!! I can't wait!!!

And my scrap love Heidi (blog soon to come!) and I have decided that we are going to make a challenge for ourselves and submit something for publication by the end of the year!!! GO US - balls to the wall girl!!!!!!! much love!
